Summer Is Ahead!

The days are longer and the school year will be ending soon!  Warm muggy afternoons result in quick-rising thunderstorms; birds are busy feeding their young and a shade tree and a glass of ice tea are a welcomed break from the boiling sun. The signs of the times are everywhere; Summer is just ahead.

What does this mean for us? It means that the Benton’s Crossroads Baptist Church family will begin to enjoy picnics, outdoor events, and ice cream socials while preparing for Vacation Bible school, Summer Camp, and personal vacations.

What does “Summer ahead” mean for you and your family? I trust that as you plan for the Summer months, that your plans will include continued involvement in the weekly activities of your church. May the “dog days of Summer”, not be the “dark days of slumber” in the church. I hope that you are already making your plans to faithfully join us as we worship and study His Word together during the coming months.

What are the plans for BCRBC during these special times? Just to continue to share the “good news” of Salvation and the forgiveness of sins with all who worship with us and to encourage faithful Christian living so that we can demonstrate the love of God to all with whom we come in contact day by day.

Through our local church ministry and our world-wide Missions effort, we pray that we can help those who are hurting, and encourage others who are weary, as we tell them of the marvelous grace and the matchless love of our great God.

We invite you to come and join with us! I hope to see you soon!
